Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-23-draft

These terms govern your use of RPT AI Video Studio: a web studio and an MCP server for planning and generating short videos, used by people and by AI agents acting for them. By creating an account or issuing an API token you agree to them.

1. Who we are

RPT AI Video Studio is operated by the company named here ("we", "us"). The legal name, registered address and contact address of the operator will be added here before this document takes effect.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a contract. Keep your password and API tokens secret: actions taken with them are treated as yours.

A workspace owner decides who belongs to the workspace and which tokens exist for it.

3. AI agents and API tokens

You may connect AI agents through the MCP server. Each token has a mode chosen when you issue it: plan only, interactive or execute. Only execute tokens can start paid work.

You are responsible for what an agent does with a token you issued, including paid work it starts. Revoke a token as soon as you no longer trust the agent that holds it.

4. Quotes and paid work

Paid work is priced before it runs: a quote shows what a production step will cost, and the price is recorded on the quote, the run and each media task. Prices, currencies, taxes and payment methods for your country are shown in the product and at checkout.

Generation can fail. How failed work is handled is described in the Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You keep the rights you have in the briefs, images, audio and other material you upload ("inputs") and in the videos, stills and audio generated for you ("outputs"), as far as the law recognises rights in AI-generated material.

You allow us to store, process and transmit inputs and outputs as needed to provide the service to you, including sending them to the AI model provider that performs a step you asked for.

You confirm that you have the rights and consents your inputs need, including the consent of any real person whose face, voice or likeness you use.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse a request, remove content or suspend an account that breaks it.

7. AI output

Generated output can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to output made for someone else. Review it before you publish it. You are responsible for how you use outputs, including advertising, consumer protection and platform rules where you publish them.

8. Changes to the service

Models, features and limits change over time. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise that it will run without interruption. We will tell you in advance about a change that materially reduces something you have already paid for.

9. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for non-payment, or when the law requires it, and we will tell you why unless the law forbids it.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or rights you have as a consumer in the country where you live. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for a claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Law and disputes

The governing law and the courts for disputes will be named here before these terms take effect. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply in every case.

12. Changes to these terms

We publish each new version with a new version line and tell account holders before a material change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that date, the new version applies.
